This chair by the Danish designer Grete Jalk pushed the limits of bent plywood to an extreme with wonderful effect. Formed with only two elements, the seat and back fold over to within an inch of the adjacent side and are connected with two pairs of screws. According to Jalk, less than 150 of the original run of 300 chairs were ever produced, making this a truly rare example by the female designer. The chair is marked with two metal labels.
