Amino studied under Chaim Gross where he adapted the "direct carve" technique of sculpture. Influenced by the biomorphic aesthetic of Henry Moore and Isamu Noguchi, he created sculptures exploring concepts of dynamic form in space. The sculpture consists of two carved elements connected by a brass ball and socket joint, allowing the upper element to pivot in several directions, altering the form of the sculpture.
