Rapson studied architecture at Cranbrook where he became friends with Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen. He later taught at the Chicago Bauhaus under Moholy-Nagy. Rapson was the head of the University of Minnesota Department of Architecture from 1954-1984. This rare rocker is his most famous furniture design.
