This table is a unique combination of Girard and Eames' designs, incorporating never-produced pieces. The tabletop was likely created by Girard himself while the base is similar to the La Fonda pieces Eames created for the La Fonda restaurant, designed by Girard. The consignor, a previous Girard employee, put these two pieces together as a statement of Girard's and Eames' collaborative relationship.
